Acreage Mowing Tumbi Umbi

Scheduled Mowing for Large Blocks and Acreage-Style Properties

Tumbi Umbi's Trusted Large Property Mowing Team

Tumbi Umbi is a well-established Central Coast suburb. It’s home to a mix of large residential blocks, semi-rural pockets and acreage-style properties throughout. Many properties here have lawn and grassed areas well beyond what a standard push mower can handle. Through the growing season, keeping on top of that growth takes more than the occasional mow.

Mowing & Growing has been servicing large properties and acreage blocks across the Central Coast since 2005. Tumbi Umbi has been part of our regular runs for many years and we know these blocks well. We understand what larger residential and acreage-style properties need across the seasons to stay consistently well maintained.

Many Tumbi Umbi properties benefit from more than just the main lawn areas being covered. In addition, we can include residential lawn mowing closer to the house and garden maintenance around established beds and borders. Both can run as part of the same scheduled visit.

Keeping on Top of It Is Always Easier Than Catching Up

Why Tumbi Umbi Properties Need a Regular Mowing Program

The Central Coast growing season can be demanding, particularly for properties with large open lawn areas. In Tumbi Umbi, a property can go from looking well maintained to looking neglected in a short space of time. However, catching up after missing a couple of cycles always takes more time and effort than staying on top of it.

Regular scheduled mowing keeps larger properties manageable throughout the year. It also prevents growth from getting out of hand between visits. As a result, the property stays presentable and the ongoing job remains cost-effective for the owner.

A Schedule That Works Year-Round

That’s why the clients we look after in Tumbi Umbi are on regular programs throughout the year. Consistent visits keep the work manageable each time and avoid the bigger effort of a recovery mow.

Our programs run fortnightly from September through to the end of May. Peak summer gets weekly visits where growth demands it, and June through August runs four-weekly. Furthermore, every new property gets a proper site assessment before the program starts. That means the schedule suits the block from day one.

Do you service large blocks and acreage-style properties in Tumbi Umbi?
Yes. Tumbi Umbi properties range from large residential blocks to acreage-style properties with open lawn areas. We scale equipment and crew to suit each job. In addition, every new property gets a site walk before work begins, so the right program is in place from the start.
How often should a large Tumbi Umbi property be mowed?
It depends on the time of year and how quickly your property grows. Most Tumbi Umbi properties run fortnightly from September through to the end of May. Peak summer gets weekly visits where growth demands it, and June through August runs four-weekly. After seeing your property, the team recommends a starting schedule and adjusts it as the seasons change.
Is a quote really obligation-free?
Completely. There’s no cost and no expectation that you’ll go ahead. Martyn will come out in person and walk the site with you. He’ll put together a program based on what’s actually there, not a rough estimate over the phone. If you need time to think it over, that’s absolutely fine.
Do you handle properties that are overgrown or haven't been mowed for a while?
That’s something we come across fairly often. If a property has got ahead, we assess the full extent during the initial site walk. From there, we recommend the best approach for bringing it back and putting it on a scheduled program going forward. The goal is to get it right and then keep it that way.
What's the difference between a basic mow and what you deliver?
The aim isn’t just to knock the grass back between visits. Every property we look after in Tumbi Umbi is left looking properly maintained after each visit. That means clean edges where they’re needed, no clippings on paved areas or beds, and a consistent finish across the whole block.
Do you service semi-rural pockets within Tumbi Umbi?
Absolutely. Semi-rural pockets within Tumbi Umbi are part of our regular runs. These tend to be larger, quieter blocks that benefit from a structured seasonal program rather than ad-hoc visits. Moreover, we’re already familiar with the area, so scheduling is straightforward.
What mowing equipment do you use on larger Tumbi Umbi blocks?
For larger Tumbi Umbi blocks, we use commercial-grade ride-on and zero-turn mowers suited to the size of the property. That means efficient coverage across open areas while still delivering a consistent, well-presented finish. A standard domestic mower isn’t the right tool for this kind of work.
Do you service properties close to Tumbi Umbi?
Yes, we do. Our scheduled runs also cover Matcham, Holgate, Wamberal and Ourimbah. That includes other areas across the Central Coast as well. If your property is close to Tumbi Umbi, give Martyn a call and he’ll confirm whether it falls within our current runs.
Do you service properties close to Holgate as well?
Yes. We also run scheduled programs in Matcham, Wamberal, Ourimbah and Tumbi Umbi, along with other areas across the Central Coast. If your property is close to Holgate and you’re not sure whether you’re within our current runs, just give Martyn a call and he’ll let you know.
